Taiwanese Three Cup Chicken

Three essential ingredients: soy sauce, cooking wine, and sesame oil, along with an abundant amount of Thai basil, chilis, and ginger makes this homey and humble Taiwanese dish-Three Cup Chicken. You’ll find this dish in Taiwan eateries where friends gather to enjoy along with ice cold beers.

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a pot, drizzle in oil and turn the heat to medium-high. Once the oil is hot, add in chicken wings and pan fry for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown on both sides.
  2. Next, add Everyday Garlic Oil, red chilis, and ginger, and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour in soy sauce, Four Season Scallion Sauce, sesame oil, cooking wine, and sugar, and cook until the sauce is thickened and coats the pieces of chicken.
  4. Once the protein is cooked through, turn off the heat and add in basil, and sauté everything on high heat for 1 minute.
