Garlic Shrimp Scampi

Making a restaurant quality dinner at home does not have to be difficult! If you are a garlic lover, you will absolutely LOVE this Garlic Shrimp Scampi. You might even want to double up on our Everyday Garlic Oil to have plenty for tossing the shrimp in the rich, buttery sauce. Serve it with some crusty bread for dipping, or even toss it over kai dong noodles!

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Peel and devein the shrimp, keeping the heads. Simmer the shrimp heads in the white wine for 10 minutes. Set aside. This will create a vibrant, aromatic stock.
  2. Salt and pepper shrimp. To a heated pan, add Everyday Garlic Oil. Cook for 2 min (about 80% cooked through) , set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter with another scoop of Everyday Garlic Oil. Add minced garlic and shallot, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add in the shrimp stock stock, salt, red pepper flakes, paprika, and plenty of black pepper and bring to a simmer. Let the stock reduce by half, about 2 minutes.
  4. Add back in the shrimp and sauté. Stir in the parsley and lemon juice and accompany with crusty bread. Enjoy!
