RECIPE

Soy Garlic Pork Belly

Taiwanese Soy Braised Pork is one of our all-time favorite dinners! The pork belly braises until it’s melt-in-your-mouth tender, soaking up rich soy and garlic flavors with every bite. It’s savory, lightly sweet, and bursting with scallion goodness — perfect over a bowl of rice or packed for lunch the next day.

This simplified version keeps all the flavor but makes the process way easier. It’s beginner-friendly, quick enough for busy nights, and tastes just like a homemade Taiwanese classic!

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Cut pork belly into even chunks about 1.5–2 inches (4–5 cm) wide.
  2. Pan fry pork belly for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Add in garlic, saute for another 2-3 minutes or until fragrant
  4. Pour in Four Season Scallion Sauce & Water
  5. Cover and cook on medium-low heat for 35 minutes, making sure to stir occasionally to prevent sticking
  6. Optional, before serving, remove lid, turn heat to high and simmer for another 5 minutes so the sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
